SAFe for Teams provides an in-depth understanding of the Agile Release Train (ART), how it delivers value, and how to improve using Scrum, Kanban and XP.

Description

Course Outline

  • In this course you will gain an in-depth understanding of the ART, how it delivers value, and what you can do to effectively perform the role using Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP). You will also learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan Program Increments. Finally, you’ll learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.


Learning Objective

  • Learn to scale the agile and lean principles to produce the software at the enterprise level.
  • To learn the art of making the Agile Release Train and add value to the team
  • Integrate and collaborate between the train teams by knowing the interdependencies and their roles
  • Design Iterations
  • Perform iterations by demonstrating the value
  • Execute iterations and demonstrate the value of the train

  • Target audience for the SAFe Agilist course are people in Executive, Managerial and Leadership roles in Enterprise Organizations.


Pre-requisite

There are no prerequisites to attend this course. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe Practitioner (SP) certification exam:

  • Familiarity with Agile concepts and principles
  • Awareness of Scrum, Kanban, and XP
  • Working knowledge of software and hardware development processes
