UI/UX Design & Prototyping

COURSE OVERVIEW

This 3-day course equips product and design teams with the methodology and hands-on tools required to create user-centric software interfaces. The program covers the complete end-to-end design lifecycle, focusing on UX/UI fundamentals, experience mapping, wireframing, high-fidelity UI design, and interactive prototyping using Figma.

Participants will gain practical expertise in building scalable design systems, conducting usability testing, and leveraging modern workflows such as Figma Dev Mode to streamline designer-to- developer handoff and cross-functional team collaboration.

Duration: 3 days / 24 hours

Delivery Method: Classroom-based, Virtual Instructor Led Training

PREREQUISITES

·      Good understanding of software engineering and design principles.

·      Basic familiarity with digital product workflows and concepts.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

·      Apply fundamental UX/UI design principles to software products and digital interfaces.

·      Map user journeys, workflows, and interaction flows to identify opportunities for experience improvement.

·      Develop low- and high-fidelity wireframes based on defined user and business requirements.

·      Use Figma to create polished interfaces and interactive prototypes.

·      Build and maintain reusable components, styles, and basic design-system structures.

·      Apply usability, accessibility, consistency, and responsive-design principles to interface decisions.

·      Conduct basic usability testing and translate findings into design iterations.

·      Prepare designs for effective designer-to-developer handoff, including specifications, assets, components, and interaction behavior.

·      Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, UX researchers, and other stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.

·      Produce an end-to-end portfolio- or project-ready prototype demonstrating the complete UX/UI workflow.
